soaps on ropesevery year at the annual Christmas Craft Fair, i buy these lovely soaps on ropes. they’re made by some very nice ladies who live on nearby saltspring island. i have a thing about smells – most commercial soaps have that top note of fragrance “clean” or “baby” or “ocean” and then there is this underlying stink of something that smells baaaaddd. Like a stinky animal or something in the fridge that is starting to go off.

these soaps don’t have that. they are all natural vegetable soaps, finished with pure essential oils, so my nose is never offended. the 5-soap hemp ropes come in floral or spicy varieties (each soap is different) – and we hang them in the bathroom where they look cute, smell good, and leave us only a knot away from a refill.
